You can be a part of the new community compost project where we come together to compost kitchen scraps and yard trimmings. Hands-on training to prepare you to use the 3-bin composting system; after orientation, you are free to join the co-op. The Santa Fe Extension Master Gardeners’ annual Garden Fair returns as an exciting in-person community event on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at the Santa Fe County Fairgrounds. This is a free, public event celebrating our shared interests in learning about and participating in every aspect of gardening in the Santa Fe area.

The 2024 Garden Fair will include:

  • Plant Sale featuring an extraordinary selection of plants appropriate for our high desert climate

  • Garden Shed featuring gently-used donated garden tools and equipment
    Donate & Shop at the Garden Shed

  • Vendors: An exciting array of local nurseries and garden-related vendors from across the city

  • Exhibits and Demos showcasing the SFEMG’s many volunteer projects

  • Speakers and Lectures by some of our area’s foremost gardening experts
